Hi.
I bought a used amp which is great in all aspects other than the popping on powe on and off.
I cleaned all the pots and switches etc.
Does anyone know of how to remedy this?
I read that the caps related to the switch may be at fault .
There is a small ceramic cap on the the small PCB that the power switch is mounted on.
I'm grateful for any advice form the really skilled people on this forum.

Speaker protection relay is being disengaged (fast) when powering off - if you hear a pop at that moment then you may have DC on amplifier output.
Check/change C925.
Test for less than 120mV DC across the speaker when sat at idle and no signal.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand. What do you mean DC on amp output ?Speaker protection relay is being disengaged (fast) when powering off - if you hear a pop at that moment then you may have DC on amplifier output.
DC voltage on speaker terminals (before powering off). What do you mean DC on amp output ?
Is this common to both speakers or just one channel?
How many seconds does it take for the speaker relay to engage (click) after powering on?
