I totally understand why you say this and could agree. For me, animal life is superior, human life is not worth... 🤔
That's why we have four Cats at home - edit : that's why four Cats choose our home.
But it's me, OK ? 😉
But both lifeforms are by nature a miracle in their beauty and complexity.
IMO it's the ego and selfishness of humans leading us to a catastrophy.
Additional, lack of awareness and missing empathy supports this process...
That, and uncontrolled human breeding being the root of most humanitarian, and the planet's problems...IMO it's the ego and selfishness of humans leading us to a catastrophy.

Been sorting a few old Pics...This is the 'Mover-In' I mentioned earlier.
....and this was the reason she chose to stay!
The last 'Old Woofer' which I had was an ex. feral English Pointer bitch. She had been dumped in my area in Ireland and was often seen
by nearby farmers as she foraged berries, took chics off nests and was a 'one four legged survivalist. It took a long time to gain her trust
but she became a great house dog who could really find pheasants - but a retriever had to get to them first or they were chewed up on
the spot! She survived to quite an old age despite having a tendency to mild epileptic fits. I'll try and find a pic and post it here - or
even start a new thread on dogs we have loved.
EDIT:
Found one!! Dreadful quality though. Scanned from 1968 6x6 colour transparency.
