Post a Picture that Makes You Laugh

We do love to grill meat (barbeque) in our country, called "braai", but with a bit more wisdom, I think.

Something more edible - waffle with hot dag, mashed, ketchup and strawberry jam ... This is SOOOO LOCAL and you can only have it in a village just 20 minutes drive from me. The story has it that the hotdog place ran out of bread and had to go for waffles ...
Strawberry jam is what we normally have with the waffles and whipped cream. The jam is optional.

Now that IS a kindness - and in return I will tell you that I had a long time ambition to fish for seatrout on the River Em in Southern Sweden. It of course will not happen now that I am 82 and no longer have the balance to wade in strong rivers!

However your earlier video is only half forgiven as the Irish clearly have taste. When they ran out of decent food in the 19th Century they cleared off to America...
only to find that the Swedes were already ensconced on the best land!
OK OK!! Better be kind or we bring in the infamous SURSTRÖMMING!!!!!

Here's a confession. We traveled all around Ireland in 2014 and NEVER did we encounter something that tasted bad. On the contrary.
On the Westcoast we ate the most delicious Fish&Chips EVER. The fish was smoked and then deepfried. So bad we didn't bring the fishes&cipsies to the pub and ate with a good stout or dark ale.

...and another confession! Until I had heart bypass surgery I spent a good few nights in hospital...every time the Chief Nurse on duty was the same Swedish girl. My 81 year wife plays tennis very regularly with Churston and she is one of the best people one could know - she has just retired and also become a grandmother...her daughter lives nearby so she is exceedingly happy.

I also have a few Swedish fishing friends - they come here in February to fish for our noted Spring Salmon; they have been very successful over the years. But unfortunately the river here - Tweed - has suffered ever declining catches over the past 5 years or so.

[I'd like to hear Cal's response!]

He has seen it. Can’t remember what he said.

A friend came up with this when. oi was i n High School (1st experience at Phil’s in Red Deer), later i order it off the menu at a burger place oin San Fransisco (gone now). My Uncle (who took us)had chocolate cake with chocolat eice cream and chocolate sauce (also on the menu)

Cal does not respond unless you show him pictures of food. What is shown, is a gag joke.
I can't imagine smoking enough marijuana to make that taste good.
Fermented fish and Durian on the other hand are both delicious and well consumed here.
Just not when I am looking for smooches from the Mrs.
Actually we just bought a bag of Durian candy. Very good and very Durian.
You will have your own seat on the bus, for sure.
