Hope this to be short thread. Probably also doesn't belongs to this forum as it is not DIY question.
I need recommendation for cheap D-class amplifier with Bluetooth from Amazon, should have at least one aux input and 20 watt is enough. Most important to be reliable, economical and sound decent. Budget up to 100€. Amazon is full of these things, but I don't know which ones are reliable.
Friend of mine recently divorced and husband took all hifi away, I have speakers for her, but all my amps are too complicated, many components and too many wires. She needs something simple in one small box .
Thanks heaps!

Something like this should work?
Although I'm not sure why the 3.5mm aux input is exclusively for older TPA3116-based amps.

If you think that the treble and bass controls at their max won't hurt your speakers...I mean, nobody knows the user, what he/she does all alone!
But 20 W won't break the speakers, I guess. I prefer always to have less stages on the signal path. If tone controls must be, then they aren't bad either. A defeat switch is always welcomed...
I believe your amps are far better but I know also that space is necessary, and I won't say anything about my regret to class D amps 'cos all the summer I played with that and it's not so obnoxious as I thought. The commodity to be a DJ with YT is different to put a disc on the TT ( self made) with a pre ( self made) and a magnificent tube amp then the speaker chapter and the room.

This one is not the prettiest one, but inexpensive. I've not tested this model, but I have the 2.1 version of this and it's fine for the price. No hiss or hum with a laptop supply.

One of the more reliable Chinese brands, but keep an eye out.Hi, thanks Karl,
So this Fosi brand is reliable?
Another option is this palm-sized amp: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805427948468.html?
It's quite feature-packed and easy to hide away.
Hi people, thanks!
Please keep feeding in, So far Fosi looks most suitable....
Don't think she will kill anything with control pots, she is educated user. Just looking for something that will not die after 12 months, and take speakers to grave with it ... This is needed for quick fix to have background music playable from phone via Bluetooth, and to connect TV for better sound... That is all that's needed. But it should not be trash.
As example I have 2 USB to SPDIF converters (as you can imagine me being older guy have plenty of DAC without USB). One is from SMSL and works fantastic, other is Douk and died after 12 months for whatever reason...

Alternatively, you can get a second-hand Class-AB amplifier from reputable brands and add a BT receiver. This approach can be more reliable for a similar or cheaper price, despite the fact it doesn't quite fit into the "Class D" subforum 🙂.

I don't have to buy, at least 2 very nice and adequate vintage AB amps are laying in my garage. But if I add BT receiver, it needs PS (another cable) and than I don't know how good are those neither. Nevertheless all those amps need re-caping and cleaning, at least pots, so work...
Once I also bought one BT receiver for car (I drive vintage landrover, no BT there) and it went straight to garbage.... A lot of noise this was making. Figured it is more economical to buy complete amp with BT, of course if it works well.
The Wiim Mini is an excellent and affordable bluetooth transmitter receiver with good performance and build quality. This can feed to an amplifier and sounds very good. I have had no issues whatsoever with mine and use it every single day. It can essentially be almost hidden as well.
It sells for around €99 in Europe, possibly less on sale.
Mine is currently playing into a 1970's Onkyo A5 while I repair my main preamp.

I like the Fosi brand. Great value for money and ever expanding range. I order directly on the Fosi website and they ship to my door, cheaper than buying local. So this Fosi brand is reliable?
I have a few Fosi products. I really didn't expect much from them but other than their exaggerated power ratings, they sound excellent. I'm no audio tech snob, but have been steadily and seriously into hi-fi for 50 years.
BT30D Pro. Has a sub out for a passive sub as well. I use this in my bedroom because it is too easy to control the Bluetooth and Spotify from my phone. Otherwise, I am generally new tech stubborn.

Hello people,
Thanks for all kind share of experience. Seems it will be one of those small Fosi boxes.
When bought and installed, I will share photo and short review.
Many thanks again,
Dražen
