All of the above do that, so it's really a case of 'name your poison' 😉
If you're concerned about baffle step though, assuming you have a solid front wall, Silbury is by far the most capable in that regard as it's a high-gain enclosure by design -the expectation is that you'll damp out what excess is not needed, on the principle that it's better to have too much than too little. Too much you can do something about. Too little = you're up that famous creek people go and loose their paddles. Joan & Pensil come next in terms of deliberate broadband excess, followed by the others.
Ok, I think I am starting to understand the alignments. I am going to start with the Joan since these are going in my basement. The Silbury are going to be a lot to get down there. If I need more bass output, I can always build the Silbury.
