Hello,
New member here. Been reading a lot about t-line boxes and learned some simulation in Hornreesp. Have a few more questions about the same which I will eventually post.
Thanks and great community here with loads of knowledge.

Welcome to diyAudio :^)
You will find some deep knowledge on TLs(aka quarter-wave lines).
@GM, @Scottmoose, @pkitt. Martin King has sadly retreated.
I have lots of practice drawing TLs designed by others.

Thanks @AllenB
Thanks @planet10 ..I have some sims using the old school method in Hornresp. fs to Line length and cone area to line area. placing sub 1/3rd down the line or sub and open end as far as possible to take care of the first dip ... designing for a car so I dont think i need to care about the second dip ...
do have some more questions ..maybe will start a thread

The first is a good starting point for an untapered line, Sd has little to nothing to do the line design. Vas is what is pertinent.
Here an essay that does a good job of describing “Classical Design” techniques: https://www.t-linespeakers.org/design/classic.html Using this ni’d guess 1 out of 10 lines are OK, none are optimum.
And one that gives an outline of modern techniques; https://www.t-linespeakers.org/design/MJK-for-dummies/index.html

Welcome!
Dave's being modest, but few are better at midrange line design in particular.
And a lot of knowledge yourself. 😉Welcome to diyAudio :^)
