A question:
When I write a message to another forum member, there is a checkbox "allow the recipient to invite others". But the recipient has no way to invite others, whether I have checked the box or not.
How is it possible to add others (like cc in an email) after the initial message?
I suspect the person you have invited, that is trying to invite others, doesn't have enough privileges. The number of recipients is limited by your status - new members can only message single people at a time, and larger groups are enabled by being a paid up member.

I don't know if it's by choice or a small oversight, but I just noticed that with the recent nice update of the Forum interface at least one closed thread has lost the attractive blue mark and some might unfairly think that it has been reopened.
Have a nice day.

Thanks for the bug report. The "old thread closer" system (that prompts you "Are you sure you want to revive this thread?" is going to be offline for 48-72 hours while it is updated to work with XF2.3. Another issue to do with the removal of Jquery from XenForo. However I did notice that someone posted to my announcement, which I am sure I had closed... can you provide a link to the thread you think was closed prior to the migration?

Sure, the following one

The "closed" symbol in the thread overview is a bit strange (on android phone, dark theme here):

Got it. Yes that can (and will be improved). Thanks.

Not sure if it is finger trouble but my support expired and I wanted to renew but am getting
Thanks for your renewal Bill. Yes the whole donation system is offline at the moment. 🤦‍♂️

This issue (and others) were resolved in our beta testing of the XF2.3 upgrade but don't seem to have made it to production. I'm sure the bulk of all these bugs will be resolved in the next 16 hours or so.

What do you see or what is not expected?
Actually, what I see is ot, instead the bug (if any) is related to a missing blue icon not so small on the closed-thread line in the Watched Threads or in the Summary Forum page almost at the middle of the line from tha title and the last post with the timetable.
I don't know how else to describe it now, but it was there and allowed the reader of the forum summary to notice at a glance that the thread had been closed, without having to open its related page.
Sorry if I can't describe it better than that.

The "closed" symbol in the thread overview is a bit strange (on android phone, dark theme here):

Under Windows 10 that symbol is missing at all, at least here.

By the way, the "Quote" icon is also missing here, even in the right-click menu. 😉

Edit to add that I hadn't read yet that you had already replied to @stv...

Swung by last night and the site was a big jumble of oversized icons and gibberish.

Finally at the bottom of all the borked menus was a small font 'scheduled maintenance, please come back in as couple of hours' message.

May I suggest a redirect to a friendly view 'photo of dudes/dude-ettes surrounded with ancient electronics' as you used to do during scheduled outages?

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I'm not personally maintaining the diyAudio servers myself, and we have lost a little of the wonderment and audio kitsch of yore that came with me having fun with my DIY creativity in the IT domain. I still admin the site, I just don't do server admin on the production server any longer. I still write some code for a few custom plugins we're using, but the lion's share of the theme and server maintainance and now performed by Audentio. It's nice not to have to fix broken servers at 3am and be able to get an unbroken night's sleep as I approach the big 5-0. Partnering with the world's foremost team of XenForo experts for coding, theme and dev support has allowed me to not go completely mad trying to run both the forum and the store at the same time, though the store has certainly tried its best.

Your feedback is noted, and I will see if we can get some of those old photos back in the mix next time an upgrade is performed. I'm glad you enjoyed those images, I think we all did. This upgrade was a tricky one - a lot changed in XenForo's back-end (but not a lot visible on the front end). This should get us through for a while now.
