I have experience with 32W/4878T00 in closed box and this woofer definitely did not sound good and clean in lower midrange with ~300Hz LR2.
For new project I would like to have better sensitivity and old school look cabinets with 12"+4-5"+1" drivers.
T11 main differences compared to T00/T01 are foam surround single layer paper cone (T00/T01 have 2layers with foam filling). Of course TS parameters differ as well. All this promises cleaner lower midrange performance.
I am also considering SB34NRXL and 12RS430.
Thanks for any thoughts

I don't have any experience with these drivers but it is a subject I look. I read a lot. And I am a fan of OB with 10/12/15". I am a fan of econowave speaker, note I build a small one with the SICA 8H2CP / BMS 4544 HF94 (1300Hz LR4) which sounds as good as my best SEAS Excel speakers.
First you have to consider sensitivity vs bass extension.
Size greater than 10" is not the territory of Scandinavian speaker driver manufacturers. You should look other brands like BMS, 18sound, Faital Pro. These brands make drivers which sounds good.
I also see interesting 12" drivers
Kartesian 12" Done for French DIY : Kartesian Wom300_vDIY
SICA : 15 K 3 PL
I think the strong point with these two drivers are there clean performance in the bass and mid bass but not verified.
Perhaps Acoustic Elegance drivers ? They are expensive but I don't any idea how they could sound.
There are plenty 12" Pro drivers but the problem is you don't seem to have a lot which sounds good above 200Hz, it is my opinion, perhaps I am wrong.

Bear with me whilst I think out loud. 400Hz LR2 LPF mean that by 800Hz we are only 12dB down. At 4KHz we are 40dB down.
If that is the requirement, then we are looking for woofer like the PHL 4310NdU or B&C 12NBX100- smooth and extended response that drops off past 2KHz, instead of rising and dipping and resonating wildly on (and off) axis.
Now you need to find some with sensitivity and excursion to meet your SPL/ low bass/box requirements. A copper sleeve is also useful, as well as a neutral surround, if you can find it.

Please elaborate.
I assume you do not want to tell me that 32w t00 should sound good with high Fc and lr2. If yes, then your furher presence in this thread is useless.

@jerome, yes, hificompass is my first source when I seek drivers measurement. And thank you for the suggestions of the drivers, my thoughs go the same way, eg PA drivers.
Tktran, thanks as well, I see it basically the same. Just s correction, 400hz lr2 means -18dB at 800hz.
Options
SB34nrx quite well known for poor lower midrange performance above ~200hz, especially with lower slopes
SB34nrxl profiguy recommended 350hz lr2 to stay away from the resonance around 700hz
Ne315w could be great option, though NLA
TIW300 is not suitable for higher Fc, based on info from diyer who worked with it
12rs430 not much real world experiences with this driver yet

I notice one thing on the website of ScanSpeak, the kits with the 32W like the B1371 or Ellipticor-3 use the two version T01 and T11 as subwoofer.
@PKAudio Some PA drivers are designed for HIFI or Studio monitors. You can find measurements of distortion in the web of some of them. The 18Sound 12LW1400 is a recommended driver in the french DIY community.

It means you have not managed x/o filter the right way. Driver frequency extension is adequate.
I wonder if @PKAudio used notch filters to take care of the resonances at 2KHz and 4Khz.
Jon Marsh has used the Dayton RSS315HF drivers quite high in his Isiris design, they are very well behaved up to 1K, with no breakup visible till 2K. Sensitivity may be low for a single with a passive crossover though.

Yes, I was going to mention that, but unfortunately, the price of these drivers have shot up.
Now even higher than the Made In Denmark Scan-Speak 30W.
Depending on local pricing factors and desired sensitivity in passive application, it might work, in pairs.

A driver can only do some many things without something having to give. I don't know of anything that can be both highly efficient, have good low frequency output and well controlled linear frequency response across the board. Usually one of those has to go or compromise of two factors.
Troels hybrid amplifier approach makes sense when the lowest driver has everything but efficiency.

PHL 4531 might work, but low bass response is limited. Good sensivity and frequency response.
Some time ago there was visaton w300s, but s-version is no longer manufactured. Would have been interesting budget version for this kind of builds.

LR filters are -6dB at the crossover so should be -18dB at double the frequency? 🤔Bear with me whilst I think out loud. 400Hz LR2 LPF mean that by 800Hz we are only 12dB down. At 4KHz we are 40dB down.
Jonasz, yes, correct.
Of course, it was activ, octodac plus nanosharc, response followed lr2 nicely.

Daytons re good suggestion, I will explore the portfolio more in depth.Jon Marsh has used the Dayton RSS315HF drivers quite high in his Isiris design, they are very well behaved up to 1K, with no breakup visible till 2K. Sensitivity may be low for a single with a passive crossover though.

Acoustic Elegance were mentioned, this would be definitely good choice, though availability in EU is problematic.

- 32W/4878T11 or 8878T11: 400Hz LR2 possible? Any experiences?
