Hoping that no moderator (and none of those who consider the indications of non-legitimacy of an entry as a collateral affront) considers the following reply as a disturbance to the pleasantness of this thread and if indeed the OP really holds some minimal "power" on the theme I consider @MtlJazz's entry legit for the following reason.

Just as a pure and unlikely coincidence I learned the fact that almost everything about the so-called Free World derives from the cold war (from '45 to '91) and I myself just this morning mentioned the cold war in a post with a completely different topic

However, considering that the following is stated in the top link: "The term "leader of the free world" has been used to imply a symbolic and moral leadership, and was mostly used during the Cold War in reference to the President of the United States" and for this very reason I confirm that the entry can be considered valid.

Not to mention the fact that his way to argue/reason were in my opinion convincing enough in themselves. 😍
