I think this is about as close as I want to place all my components. Originally I wanted all of this to go in that black plate to the left. Clearly, it will not all fit in there. That is the back panel to my enclosure, the side you see is the INSIDE of the cabinet.
I am considering externally mounting this. Just 3d printing a standing plate where I can mount them all to it.
Anyone have any opinions on external VS internal mount? Any way I can smoosh all these onto that plate without the inductors wreaking havoc with the other inductors and/or caps?

For prototypes my crossovers tend to be piles of components and jumpers resembling spaghetti. They wind up in the floor or on the speaker depending on its size. Once everything is dialed in and confirmed with extensive listening, then it's time to make a permanent crossover. For the permanent one, I'd try to fit it inside.
Yes, but you will never be finished with your design...Yeah I have a feeling external is the way to go so I can swap stuff super easily

Doing something wrong for any amount of time doesn't make it right. You cannot convince me otherwise

If it works for you, that's good. There's often a difference between what looks bad and what is bad.
Amplifier designers sometimes have to try rotating their power transformers to reduce hum, and it works. It doesn't matter that it's still a leaky component or that it's now at an awkward looking angle.
If you go for an external crossover, check out 8 pole Neutrik SpeakOn connectors.
I plat to run standard banana plugs to the inputs on my external crossover, then 3 pairs of wires (1 set for each driver) all together in one fat cable terminated with a SpeakOn at the speaker. That way, I for sure cant mess up accidentally connecting the tweeter to anything with low freq content.
