Not technically a Pass Labs product, but need GFP-750 help

Interesting. Our current setup on this side of the room:

And finishing updates and repairs on the bench:

Unfortunately sometimes having a box doesn't mean it'll work. 🙂 A few months ago I was preparing a couple of old windows boxes (from early to mid 2000s) for recycling. They were fully operational before they went into storage but neither one booted up correctly.

That’s what I found, plus some dead power supplies. I finally found a win 98 machine that would boot up in DOS and had a working serial port for the old Ceibo programmer. It needed a PS2 keyboard because it lacked the usb drivers. Good brain memory exercise.

I recently gave away 8 early Windows/DOS laptops I used for years doing bat research (bioacoustics). As I was doing packing them up, I kept thinking - I need to keep one of these because something like this is going to come up. Did I? Of course not. Gave away dozens of 3.5" floppies, power supplies, docking stations. Just this week I had to buy a Win 7 laptop to use as a primary for my newly acquired Audio Precision SYS-2722, after giving away probably 3 of those over the years.

Hopefully my GFP-750 won't need a chip in the future!!! Yikes.
