Would a BMR allow crossover to a super-tweeter without lobing?

...because of how the BMR emits the highs. Which I don't have a clear sense of, but I gather is somewhat scattered in time & space rather than a coherent wavefront?

Just curious if that technology offered a unique possibility for non-brickwall, no lobing high freq XO.

The super-tweeter would be separated from the BMR by some distance, so there would still be wavelength related off axis lobing between the two.

The BMR inconsistent VHF pattern would make predicting the lobe points a challenge...

Ah, thanks. I had thought the BMR might act kind of like a large roundover baffle edge, spreading out the impact of the separated source so much that its contribution was negligible. But that would measure as a very low FR magnitude at any any given point. Since here we have high SPL with some phase, adding a second source will lobe. Got it.

The only chance you have to achieve that would be to have the super tweeter mounted coaxial in front of the BMR or cut it out in the middle and put it there - which both brings a ton of problems with it. So, realistically, no.
