Ho yes, I guess he was pretty messed up.The more I hear Mahler's music, the more insecure I think Mahler
Sorry for the rude judgment but that's a certain faith when he tried to channel the entire Universe through music using human heart and brain. Nevertheless he made a tremendous job succeeding doing excactly that.
they show this new topmodel IryaWere Croma speakers there? I was very impressed with their latest speaker that uses the Purifi 10” woofer and Purifi mids.
It is a not so new Brand from Greece. Constructor base is Magnetophones. For recordings primarly. Of course superior reproduction...Damnit forgot the best one. I don't know what it is but I like it.
These are they other "gadgets" 🙁
The design is not just for the visual - but very well connected with the sound.
Unfortunatley I dont know the name of the prand 🙁
Aaaah yes I found some link
METAXAS & SINS

thank youCongratulation to @lrisbo : The popularity of driver from Purifi is very evident this year. I remember seeing at least 5 speaker vendor uses Purifi driver for their speaker.
As an amateur horn player I can not resist to react: the "solo Trompete" at the start is Mahler's 5th symphony (with the famous "death in Venice" part).Nothing like mahler live on stage.
Dritte Sinfonie Erste Satz- Solo Trompete and you immediately realize that loudspeakers are extremely handicap and can only replicate a faint shadow of instrument dynamics capabilities. It was a good shock and a bitter one to realize that.
What a guy this Mahler was... not envy though! just speechless recognizing his depths.
The 3rd symphony starts with 8 horns unisono....
Endless investment of money does not always make Hifi sound better. Not even look nicer.

I have had the pleasure to hear both preformed in Freiburg.
Still no comment on the French driver manufacturer Kartesian. Are they new in the field? 94db efficiency looks very nicethank you
And yes absolutely congratulations on your fantastic drivers, I can only assume it's not an easy task to change the hifi landscape like you have.

That guy had several very nice looking tall ESL panels on show also.It is a not so new Brand from Greece. Constructor base is Magnetophones. For recordings primarly. Of course superior reproduction...

I chatted with him (my current interest is ESL direct drive) and he appears to know what he is doing.
Too bad he didn't play them.
His tape decks look like something out of a Star Wars film ...
BTW He is Greek but lives in Amsterdam.

Just in case someone wishes to watch the video
Turntables fascination is growing in digital age;-)
thank you. has not exactly been easy and keeps being hard work but lovely to see that the effort now brings joy to the world.Still no comment on the French driver manufacturer Kartesian. Are they new in the field? 94db efficiency looks very nice

We have been neighbours to Kartesian at Munich IPS several years and we share mutual admiration. We dont see each other as competitors. the real competition is the legacy tech.
i think it was the Kroma Matilde shown at HiFI Deluxe. it has a single 10”@lrisbo; I think that is the speaker that I heard at a show in the UK a couple of months back. They had only recently got hold of your 10” woofers for it. I thought it sounded very good indeed.
You are correct Lars, my memory was faulty (but not my recollection of how good it sounded 😉).
Is that 2 x 10” drivers in the Irya then ? If its better than the Matilde then I’d love to hear it, not that I can afford it.

glad to hear it sounded well. I have sadly not yet heard our 10” yet (too busy to go to Munich). Yes, the Irya uses 2x10” per side. Unfortunately, extremely expensive.
2024 Munich. Proving again that 50% of statement level speaker designs are eye candy, with no basis in technical performance.
Any how the room is King in audio.
Still don't really see the point in those huge Systems. The huge Aries Cerat, the huge Cessaro Horns and of course the chinese... serving a solitary evening for the Über wealthy Audiophile? Somehow I don't see it happening.
But I will be happy camper with Living voice vox olympian or the smaller version thank you very much
