Run 100kHz test also where low impedance caps are characterizedUncle Der EE says 166 milliohms
Burning them now. Bit iffy results. The fixed VR is 3k6 and trim is 1k. They seem to have been built for +/- 18. Trim @ 0 gives 16,5 v. Its the same 5R6 as current limiter, but only 3 greens. And they take way different current.

Because three greens give lower total Vf roof i.e. less CCS with same Rset. But you can also pull the skipping jumper and populate the extra green.
Will try to measure some Vdrops but the darn things are boxed in effectively 🙂
Nothing heats up very much though.

Sounds more like it. Befits what the bench psus display.0,95 over neg Rset, 1,1 over positive
The CSS probably works, and I can adjust the Vouts. 12.2 volts over R103/203 3K6 gives 3,39 mA and is probably legit. I tried to measure Vdrop over the 3 greens but got no readings. Maybe I can do it when not running. It must be very badly matched, although that doesnt sound like me 🙂
And it was thought for one of those https://www.nisshinbo-microdevices.co.jp/en/MUSES/series/MUSES72320.html so voltage config makes sense
I find it unlikely that the mismatch of green leds are responsible for the difference in current. With BM829:
Maybe Ill wet up the joints here and there
