Hi everyone, I'm starting a new project for the heresy big version (Klipsch Forte style), the components will be:
-B&C DE10 tweeter
-K53k medium with 15" horn.
As for the woofer, I don't know, I have selected some models that I can easily find, with a price around €150 and they are:
Eminence beta 12A (I already have this one)
B&C 12NDL76
RCF LF12X401
Dayton pa 310-8
LaVoce waf122.50
For each I attach the technical data sheets.
The dimensions will be approximately 100l like the FASTLANE AUDIO version with 4" port.
Which of these woofers might be best for you? I chose these because they are easy to find and affordable, but I could use others in that price range.
Thanks

I didn’t understand anything but the subject but maybe this can help.
I have great experience with a Fane Pro 12 in a heresy inspired speaker. Powerful rugged sensitive and merge well with horn mids and horn tweeters. Cast alu for price as nice as well. I ended up in a 2-way config with Eminence ASD1001 in a APT150 horn and was very happy. Plan to mod it to 3-way soon.

You can get it in Thomann all over EU
Hope it helps.

@Tix88 Hi, From Italy you have choices
In your list RCF B&C Dayton Lavoce.
You can look the Faital Pro 12FE330

I had also seen that Faital and he is one of the candidates, but there are many choices and I would like to have some more certainty. I model LaVoce and Rcf are the ones that intrigue me the most, but I'm not sure if the bass will go down much, the Fane proposed was also on the list, many models but I don't know which one to choose.
To choose you should give more conditions. I suggest the Faital pro because the resonance frequency is lower 30Hz, goes lower in frequency but sensitivity is lower.
For other brands based on parameter and Know-How of the manufacturer and my taste, point of view.

The woofer will be crossed at around 600-700Hz with the medium horn driver from Klipsch, the K53K model, with a 15" horn. The Faital you recommended seems good, but I'm afraid it will pair poorly with horns with higher sensitivity of 97db
The problem is to find the compromise bass extension and sensitivity.
Perhaps a 15" will give you best result ? Low extension and sensitivity like SB Audience BIANCO-15MW350 ?

A 15" is too demanding in terms of size, I have to stay with a 12" and find the right compromise, at the cost of losing a few Hz belowThe problem is to find the compromise bass extension and sensitivity.

Yes, I am aware of them, but it is too expensive to have them shipped to Italy
