I like to sell my pair of Audio Cube Magus. They are in "as new" condition, I bought them Dec. 2019. I have the original boxes and will pack very securely. Germany will be the best, Europe is also okay.
If someone likes to pick them up locally I would give the finished enclosures on top for free. They are constructed according the plans Audio Cube offers but with folded line. I am not a carpenter so they are not perfect, but they are for free. But I am not in the mode to ship the enclosures. The enclosures are made with beech multiplex, the front is 25mm Panzersperrholz.
Someone will ask, why I sell these.
I tried to integrate the Cubes into my listening room, not succesfull. So I build a set of ULD Elsinores, thats my way to listen to music.
New price 1,500 Euro, Germany shipping included, EC shipping on top

Heck of a lotta' sound on offer here for the price... I'd be interested if we weren't an ocean apart. GLWS.
Dave, do you find that these are too bright and hot in the upper mids? that's that problem I've been having with full ranges in open baffles. thanks
That implies a lack in the lower frequencies, possibly because of cancellations. What do your measurements show? How big are your baffles? Have you tried extending the baffles? Take whatever you have (children, moving boxes, old dog that still is able stand upright, ...) to make them wider. Does that help?
I have never even seen one, let alone hear it. The customer had A10.3eN/A10PeN, FE206eN2/GPA 604, as well as the Cube. Gavce some sense of where they stand.

Thanks for the advice guy... I'm sorry to highjack the conversation, but I built some of nelson pass's SLOB's, copied the LX mini crossover schematic from speaker camp 2022/2023, and bought some used moths and Lii Fast 8's. I have trouble with the upper mid being harsh in some recordings. It seems to sound better at really low levels. I also tried the moths in phase and out of phase...same thing with the Lii's. I can take some measurements this weekend. I heard from someone else who built the slobs with nelson's crossover designed for the Cube Magnus's and he had a similar experience with the hot top end. Just wondering if it's something I am doing wrong or if Nelson and I just have different tastes.

I have CUBE F8's in my SLOB's, Nelson was kind enough to send me the schematic for his ACN when using the CUBE FR drivers. I posted the schematic on the ACN thread, he used the F8 Magus drivers. If the OP or anyone who buys these drivers, I would be happy to send them to you instead of having to try to find my post. These drivers are awesome.
BTW, I keep thinking i should buy these drivers.
Just for reference, the Magus need to be heard off-axis, with 10 to 15 degrees off-axis being the preferred listening position. Listening on axis will result in excessive high frequencies.
