There is a RZ820 service manual on HiFi engine website. Rz820 may similiar with RZ840 on the control section.
Couple weeks ago, I fix a Sony AV receiver which was total dead no display and can't turn on/off. After checking the power supply of system IC, I found the voltage is worng then I found a crack on the trace and fix it.
I think that may a good idea to check the SMPS moudle for 12V output and the following reg. ICs have the match voltage.

This thing looks like it was designed by a child.
I will also look at the small smps card, it remains constantly under tension and degrades faster than the rest.

Oggi, unless you maintained a membership with hifi engine, you may need to ask one of the members here to download that manual as they no longer allow new users. There is a thread running at the moment discussing this. Cheers, Stuey
