I've been doing some sorting and theese came up.
I have no idea about numbers, but there most be thousands.
My weight says 3.2 kilo.
Brands are mainly wima. roederstein. and siemens.
They are sold as one lot only, and eu only.
I have some more of each if that's needed.
Asking price 170 euro

Amazing how much stuff accumulates over the years, sorting is not done more stuff probably will show up.

The price is terrific for someone who wants all of those caps! But I think you nailed it when you said it is too many caps. Maybe if you split the lot into quarters, then the quantity would be more DIY-friendly.

Hi Mike, yes I have thought about that, split it in 3 or 4, my initial thought was that someone here might do some ebay selling, could yield serious cash sold that way, but time consuming.

Box 26 counted from upper left corner is counted, 180 capacitors, some even more, so at least 6000 units as absolute minimum, I guess closer to 8000.

Let's adjust to 140, I need to make some space here, to much stuff

Some have asked to split it up into smaller portions, but I will not sit down spend hours counting through thousands of parts, not to speak of all those extra bags I have to buy.
So one more time price is now 120, and buyer pays for shipping costs, I estimate it could be a package just below 5 kilo

so.. again no sell.. i will stop it now, and keep them?? no will not keep them but give them away to peoplo who buy stuff from me, so each one who deals with me will get at least 100 assorted capacitors, some from each drawer, cristmas is comming.
