Thanks for the responses. I've got a old pair of Toshiba floor-standers in storage. (Similar to those below). They are about 30 litres. When I get a matching pair of 6.5 or 7" subs. I'll put them in the lower half and see what occurs.

Is that an 8” mated with the little Audax tweeter?

There is very likely a big hole between the top of the midBass and the bottom of the tweeter.

Tall enuff to be an ML-TL. Move the vent to optimize. And, having seen similar, the box can likely be significantly improved. Swap a 2-3” FR for the tweeter (a pipe out the back for enclosure, or a sealed box behind.

No it's a Peerless SKO165 (6.5") It has been replaced with a random 7" woofer.
