Amp recommendations for ESL 9025

As for amp recommendations, I'm a big fan of the Benchmark AHB2 for driving any speaker these days. I also like the nCore or Purifi line of switching amps. In my main system, I have a Cambridge Audio EVO150 (nCore amp section and reasonably nice DAC) driving a set of 2912's. It is a single box solution fed by roon and sounds like nothing. In my shop I have a Benchmark DAC3 driving the AHB2 which drive a set of 2805's (or whatever customer quads happen to be freshly rebuilt). The DAC3 is attached to a rPi via USB and is also fed by roon or iTunes

But neither of those are DIY, so take this with a grain of salt. 🙂

Thanks Sheldon, going to hold off on doing anything amp wise at present.
I spoke to guy that built one of my amps, he reckoned it would run the 2905's very well.
He used one the same to drive ESL57's and Magnepan and said it preformed very well with eccentric loads and coped well with very low impedance.
I'll put more consideration into the amp when I get the 2905 rebuild finished and it all hooked up.
Spare time consumed building a weight balanced jig at present.
