Hi,
I have 2 amps, Aura VA 100 and Musical Fidelity A120, their potentiometers both are needed to be replaced, but i dont know how to find their parts since i dont know their specs.
Can you pls help me to identify those parts so i can purchase them?
Thanks and best regards
Anh

I don't know about the Aura but the Musical Fidelity seems to have an Alps pot.
You could read the inscription and Google it or post it here.

Since you have the 2 amplifiers it seems best if you open them to make pictures of the potentiometers. Suppose the device has been built in various versions and you have exactly the odd one with another volume control. Always open and check yourself.
The A120 has an Alps RK27 but the value is unknown. Probably 50 kOhm log. Maybe it is in the feedback loop of an opamp so it could be a linear type. Write down all text and make a picture.
PS: you could mount a remote controlled replacement if you like. I just replaced my amplifier for an amplifier with manual volume control and I like Spartan equipment but remote control for volume is not luxury 🙂
