Singaporean audio brand

Hi, my integrated amplifier, ADS atelier A2, is labeled "Made in Singapore". Actually, AFAIK, it was designed in either the USA or Germany, as it was jointly developed between ADS and Braun.

However, does anybody know who the manufacturer is in Singapore who made this amplifier?

ADS model A2 integrated amplifier. This unit was built by Germany’s Braun for their U.S. partner, ADS (Analog & Digital Systems, Inc.). As you probably know, Braun started out as a radio manufacturer in the 1920's, and became well known for their post-war amplifiers with Telefunken tubes. Their relationship with ADS started in the 1970's with the high-quality speaker lines branded under both names. In 1967, Gillette acquired a controlling interest in Braun and gradually began to change the focus of their business. Production of Braun audio equipment stopped around 1995.The A2 was made from 1982-1987 as part of Braun’s Atelier , or Designers' Studio, line and features a modern, timeless appearance (that was later followed by NAD and others in their product offerings). According to a German website I came across, only 21,000 A2's were produced in five years and the majority of them were labeled Braun.

Singapore has among the highest cost of living in the world, most factories are closed or shifted out.

Even Panasonic is shifting their compressor plant to China, it is one of the world's largest plants, own foundry and so on. Location was in Singapore or just inside Malaysia, crossing a bridge got you there (IIRC).

So tell us why you need this information.....

Here is the picture of the label on my unit. It was made in Singapore, not Germany as that link suggested. It was designed and developed by Braun and ADS though, I believe.
