Spindle motor identification

Can somebody identify this spindle motor ? It came from SACD player.

Yes, that is from Esoteric SA-10 player.

I believe that is rotation counter.

The inclusion of the rpm sensor may make a replacement motor unit hard to source (if sourcing one is your objective).

That was all I could think of but the question is why? (because CD and DVD players detect speed using data off the disc).

If you at the point of no return and the motor has to be swapped then see if the board is removable and not actually part of the motor itself. Most (well all I've seen) players use standard off the shelf mechs and so on, and often they are DVD based. There are zillions of spindle motors available if it is such a thing.
