No problem here, just noticed it because I didn’t know that. Not the first instrumental I posted and also not the first classical piece (although not by me).
Searching through my WAVs then I always excluded both Jazz and Classical folders so far... 🙄
Here on the forum is just a pleasant exachange of opinions for me as for everyone so I don’t care at all if instrumental, jazz or classical pieces are posted, indeed I'm glad to know that one can do that.
Just for the record, the same goes for the translation or not the translation of the title of a song from the original one that was discussed a few days ago under "my" theme, since I don’t care if it is translated or not translated in the whole thread, just I think they should not, but it really is no matter for me.
However if words are addressed to me in an unjustified grumpy way then I answer in a same grumpy way.
Furthermore I do not like at all if someone (not only myself) is unjustifiably mocked (just as for "DDT").

Just all here for me.
Please note that the text you have linked refers to the Choral version, the Ouverture solennelle 1812, that is just performed by a Chorus, but it was later removed from subsequent releases of the opera.

I appreciated your link though. 😉

There was absolutely no intention to mock you.
A pun was made, i.e., a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words which sound alike but have different meanings.

I think Eric said that about their '65 single 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place'.
It was even written into their (and later his) contracts that he has to perform that song if he wanted to get paid. It was the most requested song by GIs during the Vietnam War.
He may have said the same about Rising Sun, I don't know and he never mentioned it in the interviews I've read.
