SFE.TV - Souvenirs For Earth

I think you have to live in France to get this channel. We have Bouygues for TV,i/net,tel. There are loads of channels that we never use. The other evening I decided to go surfing and came across 133 - Souvenirs for Earth - completely unexpected - basically it's ambient with visuals and you never know what's coming next.
First up was completely erotic but no writhing bare bodies just an amazingly beautiful dark haired, dark eyed drop dead gorgeous young woman eating a chocolate coated ice cream on a stick slowly to ambient music - it went on and on until she finished it. Her face was a continuous set ofsalacious sexy steamy changes - man you had to see it. Each time a short film followed one after another, impossible to describe and always with an ambient music theme and always completely off the wall.

If any French members watch this channel it would be nice to hear their opinion.

Let me google that for you:

I know SFE for years as it is available on my ISP tv channel. Sometime this is beautiful, sometime is…difficult to follow…
It is the one gpauk did find on Internet.
live stream on web differs from the one of my ISP, but it is same channel.

I only watched it a few times, from time to time, never continuously. I never let TV on while not explicitly watching it.

My feeling was always the same : curiosity, interest, surprise, pleasure to see something nice or … being totally lost !. It’s very close to the feeling I may have visiting a contemporary art exhibition, in which I usually like some artefacts but stays hermetic to some others, usually video.

As always this is certainly due to a lack of education or knowledge of artist work or intentions. But curiosity win, and I always appreciate visiting a new exhibition, museum or show, that’s the emotion which count not the understanding. Same for music and sound.
