Paper diaphragm for vintage compresssion drivers - any experience ?

A few months ago I discovered a guy from Kazakhstan on Ebay selling paper diaphragms for various models of vintage compression drivers.
Won't put a link here to avoid perception of disguised publicity (not my country anyway).

But I'm wondering whether anyone has already tried these and could comment on results ?

Yes I have a pair of these in Altec 288K's. I was looking at Great Plains diaphrams etc but decided to take a punt and try these. I also was wondering if they are "the real thing". Yes, they are. I got them about 18 months ago. I use a DEQX DSP and am currently running them in a two-way set up in MR64 Mantarays, they are happy crossed over at 375 hz and run to well over 14K. Did not get the chance to measure against the original diaphram but would not be surprised if they measured better. The vendor offered different coil options, with different efficiency/sound/HF trade-off's, IIRC he suggested copper coil sounded most natural and maybe went a bit lower(!) but aluminium had best HF extension. I went for aluminium. No regrets.

The altec 288 with these diaphrams on a good horn is simply a great combination. I was using JBL 2435 hpl's before.

No association with the vendor etc. just a happy customer. I have been lurking on this forum for years, but only registered to post this because there is very little discussion of these by people that have actually measured and listened to them.
