Inherently there is some truth to it, some. Not the soft part but that things do seem to get easier and easier for next generations. We couldn't order a burger lunch by swiping on a pocket device!

This sanctuary is a church building dedicated to the Catholic Madonna (Our Lady).
I know of a case of a couple, who were a litttle mature in age, who actually went to the sanctuary to ask the priest to sell them a baby! Patiently, the priest, directed them to marriage counsellors.
When they were told what to do, they exclaimed, but that is a SIN!

Thanks to the invention of contraception, couples can avoid punishment for their sins. 😁
This couple was reluctant to have sex in marriage, let alone, using contraception.

But this couple, clearly, did not marry for sex. It is very evident from their behaviour. They were literally shocked they had to have sex to have children.
My point, is ignorance can be so ingrained that it contradicts and rejects reality. In this case, it was religious ignorance.
