Hello, I am trying to find a replacement for this cap. Can't tell if MKT or MKP etc. They are for the output stage of a DAC (1uF, 63V apparently). Thank you.

Any difference between MKT and MKP except for electrolyte? Not sure what I would choose.Again, a WIMA with the same spacings will be fine.
Appears to be. Don't know what the grey good is.Is it defective? What's that grey goo on top of it?

MKT is polyester, MKP is polypropylene. Both are metallized foils. MKP is better in some applications, but bigger for the same capacitance/voltage than MKT.Any difference between MKT and MKP except for electrolyte? Not sure what I would choose.
Check also MKS capacitors, they are also good. In any case, desolder the suspect part and measure.
