Looking for an oscilloscope for audio, smps/PWM and rc car motor types of signals. Happy with 2 channels and I am not very particular about features, only that it works and it's accurate. Size or digital/analog is not a concern either, so aiming for a cheap solution.
Located in UK, so I would prefer UK and EU continent sellers to avoid high shipping costs.

I bought a cheap analogue scope off ebay for £45.
Had it about 10 years now.

I have inherited an old analogue one from my uncle. It is more chunky than Hantek and true I will lose FFT capability if somebody buys Hantek off me.

I have no clue which seller to trust that the osci will be in good condition. Is there one that you know is trustworthy?
@Gredje, I wonder if 20mhz is enough in my case. Is it compatible with windows only? Do you have to mess with drivers?

Many years ago I paid £150 for a scope from a vendor in a magazine.
When it came it was the biggest load of rubbish and was about 20 years old.
It went back twice and channel 2 never worked.
I got my money back.
The one I got off ebay for £45 has worked well for 10 years.
Its a bit of a lucky dip with second hand stuff.
20Mhz is fine for audio.
I used Hantek with Windows only, I will try to google today about the other systems.

Take a look to see what CPC have. On USB scopes - Picoscope have been around for a long time. UK company and I think Linux is fully supported but best check that is still the case.
I did own a cheap Chinese scope. It seemed fine but no roll mode. Sold on as I came across a Textronix on ebay at a surprisingly low price. 😉 The educational model which might be what put people off. Exactly the same as the standard model with added "lessons". Many digital scopes have roll mode at lower timebase rates.
I also have a 2meg sample rate 11bit usb scope but don't think the company is active any more. N American design. There may be other similar around also at low prices for what they are.
