Yes, it's serious money. There's one guy who owns his own production company here in the PNW; employees, commercial property rental; he makes videos basically of him and his friends hanging out, fooling around "in character" within the Minecraft game environment. Gets 20k views within hours of an episode release. He's a millionaire now.
Some things happening these days I just dont get - like "people daft enough to watch". And I suppose at my age, I'm not supposed to. I think the shop owner has got the "episode" schtick / formula down. Who knows what the income ratio is between 'tube earnings and actual shop equipment sales.

Their prices are twice (or more) than what they should be for the used stuff so unless they are willing to do a little dickering its nothing to get excited about.
If I had enough lifespan left, with nothing better to do, I might sit through the entire video and count how many times he uses the term "cool".
Must be a new world record.
What a total cretin.

It seems that he sold that junk...cause now he can buy a lot more of it:He doesn't seem to be particularly knowledgable. Which may explain why he's bought a lot of junk.

I always wondered who the weak minded people who believe what they see on YouTube were. Now i know
Quad, Levinson. YBA. Theta, Crown... Atypical definition of junk. My favourite part is him saying 'never heard of this guy' while holding up a MoFi release of Charlie Byrd.Which may explain why he's bought a lot of junk.
He'll make more money out of the YT monetisation than he will trying to sell any of that tatty old ****.
83K subscribers, most videos under 20k views. Obviously the next audio PewDiePie.He'll make more money out of the YT monetisation
Yup, but still more money than he'll make selling the half dozen items that aren't broken...83K subscribers, most videos under 20k views. Obviously the next audio PewDiePie.
Youtube pays next to nothing these days for those numbers. You're not even accepted for monetisation below 100 k subscribers for about two years ...Try making your own channel and live out of it!

You might change your mind on that one 😵I think I'd rather take a punch to the balls than have to deal with so much junk.
Claims of 'distant knowing' aside, I think he mentioned they're a repair shop. Many of the items displayed have significant hifi fetish appeal. See the SkyFi channel for an illustration of what the obsessed will spend on them.the half dozen items that aren't broken..
