I used to have a pair of DTS10 subs in my last HT (which I loved), but I sold them when I moved...plus they would be too big for my current location. I am looking for a design for a tapped sub that is 3' wide, 2-3' tall, and 2' deep. I would like it to go flat 40-60Hz down to 20hz (corner loaded with concrete floors, and walls), and prefer an inexpensive woofer (woofer prices have skyrocketed in the past 5 years). The sub will go under my K402MEH horns...hence the dimensions I listed. I would like it to be able to put out about 120db @1 meter and will be powered by a Icepower 125asx BTL amp module.

I think so. 40-60Hz to 20Hz is how I read his reversely-written expectations.

I want to build. I was going to get the Tuba HT sub, but someone else told me to go tapped horn instead.
I used to have 2 of them in my old house, but sold them when we moved. I think I could make one and put it by my right channel, but my left channel has large glass doors.
Yes I want to crossover @40hz or 60hz (either should work with my 402MEHs), and have the sub go down to 20Hz.
Define inexpensive since best I found in a quick search is $270 for getting this much performance @ 500 W in ~13 ft^3/368 L net. Hope ~2.5 ft^3 is sufficient for driver, baffles.
dayton UM 18 shown and 15 works in same exact size/design (sim). Dunno if this is ’better’ than the famous ‘marty’ or ‘mini Marty’ boxes? But infrasonic is creepy!! (This open memory cell foam(?) Mattress pad is my new best friend for these ‘TL’ things

Indeed! Me n' a few other locals were early adopters of what was introduced locally as 'trail pad' circa '68?, a camper's open cell foam single mattress that I used for camping on the road and to make foam 'horn' extensions to audibly eliminate typical pioneer's truncated horn terminus [mouth] eigenmodes, reflections back to the throat, modulating its diaphragm. Unfortunately the early stuff quickly dissolved enough that I had to keep replacing them, but was well worth it.
