Hi, my Rockford bass amp I had been using in my main system has spat it's dummy, so is now a paper weight. As I had a spare 3255 in my 2nd system I inserted that into my main rig. Boy what an improvement after it passed though my Electronic X-over set to 100hz.
So I went hunting for a replacement & found this thing on Ali-Express. (who having been giving great service over the last several months, some orders reaching me within 8 days, with full tracking support of the parcel, very impressive)
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003335861622.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.4558f19cnlnwud
The cost was a remarkable $45 & I also orders from the same supplier a 35 VDC 5A SMPS for $18
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33031309629.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.4558f19cnlnwud
So when they arrive it will be very interesting to see how good they sound as a bass amp & how the unit holds up
Cheers

35 volt vill give you 150 watt over 8 ohm
4 ohm will be current limited to 5 A so 175 watt
So far from 600W but I'm sure it will play nice. Its just appr. 5dB less SPL compared to 600 W

Yes I realize that, however as I am not doing Electronic room correction I will not need the 600 watt.
My current shoe-in sub amp is only a 200 watt Wondom unit (that I use in my 2nd system) it is only using a 19.5 lab top brick & it is doing quite a good job.
If I find the P/S is lacking I can of cause buy another & have them running in series, or is it parallels. (i am sure someone will advise)

HI, MONO AMP RECEIVED & NOW INDTALLED IN MY SYSTEM. CERTAINLY IS GIVING A DEEPER MORE IMPACTFULL BASE THAT THAT MY ROCKFORD CAR AMP DID. RUNS VERY QUIET, WOULD BY AGAIN.

Because it is 600watts...... 😆Why the shouting?

I always wondered about these TPA3255 boards with that style heat sink. They offer several versions with IIRC up to 6 or 8 channels in total. But I never pulled the trigger. Might make a good subwoofer amp for 2R loads with the right power supply, and lots of other finger crossing! 😀
