Are you saying the amp worked fine until the moment you changed the speakers?
If so, try the old speakers again, or at least a different pair.
You must localize the problem to a single component, before going further.

Ok, is this an integrated amp? Tube or ss output stage? What model?
What are your sources, CD, LP, etc?
My first guess is that some switch on the amp is in the wrong position.
Check the tape monitor switch to start.

If the tape monitor switch does not help, listen for hiss or hum in the speakers,
both at zero volume control, and turned up. Is it dead, or is there some noise?

Do the tubes light up?It dead ,no more noise from speaker vol control turned up .
If none of the tube heaters glows, disconnect the mains power cable from the IEC socket on the back and check/replace the fuse near the socket. If only some tube heaters are glowing, turn off the amplifier and try reseating the tubes to remove oxidation from the pins: this is a common issue for vintage tubes. If all tubes are glowing, try a different audio source to be sure that the issue is not the source itself.
