Greetings.
Apologies if this is obvious, but I have tried to find information on these tape heads and fell fully short. I have a bunch of these and have access to many more. I'm assuming they're Chinese.
I'm assuming they're for auto reverse playback because all heads have similar resistance value and occupy separate tracks.
I bought them to play with tape echo effects with a half-mind to use all four tracks.
Any information on these, however basic would be appreciated as this is new stuff to me.

You will want a Record head. (Playback head make poor record heads.) 4-ch record heads are rare. Try old-old Porta-Studios.play with tape echo effects with a half-mind to use all four tracks.
IMHO, a fistful of RAM can be a much better echo than all the tape in the world. I wish there were more good choices.
What's the physical difference between read and record heads? Number of winds? Materials? You will want a Record head. (Playback head make poor record heads.) 4-ch record heads are rare. Try old-old Porta-Studios.

Also, yes, I could easily do many of the things digitally, but its about satisfying personal curiosity rather than high fidelity and specs. was given a bunch of PT2399 ICs, I know they will make cleaner echo too.
