Delta 10" Contractor.Craftsman table saw?
Its a damn nice saw when tuned in "which it is,"but it has no modern safety features.
30 years old.

I was wondering, as the cover plate is very similar to my saw, which is Craftsman. I joined a local makerspace (in Lacey WA) which has a Sawstop with all the bells and whistles.
After getting a noticable thumb scar I changed to a sliding table Felder.Delta 10" Contractor.

I do suggest you keep the top waxed. The other issue is when the finished cut width changes as you raise or lower the blade, you need to change the bearings.
The best safety for your saw is to use the always missing blade guard.
One son was over w their brood (3 under the age of 4) and a horsefly was bothering the small-fry and their mom at the pool. I told the young mom I would give her a shot of Yard Guard on the posterior of her swim suit, but it grievously offended her.
