Hi All
I have just bought a 3020 myself, but have a hum on the right channel any ideas.
Also this bloke is doing a nice 3 way test with the 3020 against the a60 and 8000a its quite interseting to hear the differences in the sonics these 3 produce

This is a different topic. Simply report your post with the button at the bottom and and ask for the mods to move it to a new location.
Otherwise and unless you're happy with wild guesses, you would need to give us the necessary details to help isolate or determine the cause of the hum problem. By operating the controls, you could at least determine the general area or origin of the hum. i.e. by checking whether it is affected by the volume, tone or balance controls and source selector switch or whether input/output signal cables are fitted or not. Is it affected by the source or tape selector switches? In other words, is it a fixed, continuous level or can it be altered by some means (also try pulling the preamp to amp. links on the rear panel ).

Ian is right this needs to be on another thread, but the hum depends on the source. This is a different topic. Simply report your post with the button at the bottom and and ask for the mods to move it to a new location.

It depends on what model you have but some were produced without a mains earth and i have cured many by converting to 3 core
Its more likely to be a poor grounding issue than anything with these units, but do as ian suggested above as this will help you locate the source
