Hi the very few available IRS2092's seem to have gone even more through the roof in price, have any of you used these or anything else by the manufacturer JSMSEMI?

I have in the past, purchased my IRS2092s from Infineon when buying quantities or RS Components/Farnell/Mouser when I only need a few.
https://www.mouser.co.uk/c/?q=irs2092 £2.96 each in 10s. £1.61 on a reel.
I wouldn't even consider purchasing from an unknown supplier as I will not be sure what I am buying.
They are however holding their price as they are now old technology and obsolescent.

The problem is that it's getting really hard to get hold on IRS2092s as they are in back order. And these are not obsolete, and still widely used.
JCSC also have the real Infineon chips, but at a premium of 21 USD !!!!!!!! ..... yes they should be 2.5 - 4 USD ....
I think I would still chose the Infineon chips despite the price ..... are they really 100% compatible?? .... on the other hand a lot of other IC components are made by numerous companies ... like LDOs etc.
Hope these and many other ICs are back in stock soon ...

????? I need 2 at most maybe 1 ... you can't compare that to you purchasing 2500 to get your £1.61 pricing ...I have in the past, purchased my IRS2092s from Infineon when buying quantities or RS Components/Farnell/Mouser when I only need a few.

I wouldn't even consider answering a question unless I understood what was asked, maybe however you could sell me 2 at that price? or even £5 each ?
Mind you, you are an unknown supplier to me.....

Sadly both of you are talking about somewhat hard to achieve goals; be it 1 (which they quote as Gbp 2.95) or 2500 at 1.61, none is physically available and due dates exceed 1 year, so .....
Obsolete or unavailable amounts to practically same if you need them in, say, less than a Month.
Is there any functionally equivalent IC which CAN be purchased now?

Its getting harder to find IC's at lower prices.
I needed some AD9201 a2d converters.
£15 each at RS and other vendors.
Had a look on Ali Express and they were £1.
So bought some and they worked great.

I am UK based how much do you want for them ?I have a quantity of Infineon,Class-D, 16-Pin PG-DSO IRS2092STRPBF
in stock, purchased through RS or Farnell from Infineon if you are UK based.
That is the whole point and the reason I was asking about what was actually available.none is physically available and due dates exceed 1 year, so .....
I am not a business so:
Infinion will not sell direct to me (I have contacted them and asked).
Farnell add a handling charge and high shipping which substancially increases the IC price.
Mouser are the same as Farnell.
I do sometimes make up orders to the minimum cost of free shipping but can't afford to do that every time I order from them but the main point was that none of these places have any stock till at least next year, so I had to look for where was left that had any stock available.
LCSC ... have the originals but once you add shipping and VAT ... that also substancially increases the already ridiculous price.
UTsource ... are highly priced and I've read so many warnings about them that it put me off.
Aliexpress & EBay .... warnings and bad experience put me off.
So I ended up at LCSC (the only place where I trust there is a high chance of the IC's to be originals). and the original question was ... Has anybody used the manufacturer JSMSEMI? If they are a fake company they've certainly taken it to a new level with their site and data sheets.
Was just looking at your curve tracer on Ebay ... 🙂Its getting harder to find IC's at lower prices.

I buy a lot of stuff from Ali but I've not had a great experience with IC's, so have you always had a good experience? Do you have trusted sellers?
Funnily enough I always imagined UTSource as a HUGE warehouse full of stock but then I found this video:
Incredible, and so wrong in so many ways I find it hard to believe it´s a real video and not a parody.
And yet ...
1) they are not "suppliers" at all, not in the way, say, Mouser or Digikey or Farnell are, by any means.
2) they are just a bunch of office delivery boys, who do NOT buy from Factories or Distributors, just over the counter available products, from small unchecked unknown vendors, only a notch above street vendors.
3) they just cross the street and maybe walk a few blocks up/down that "Electronics street" of which every Country has a few, to buy parts like you would if you were a Tourist there.
4) their "checking" is to laugh/cry at, all they do is to count quantity and maybe differentiate between an IC (rectangular black plastic, 8 metal legs, neutral taste, inert) and a cockroach (also black but oval, 6 legs, 2 antennas, bitter taste, and moves on its own), nothing beyond.
5) again and worst part: suppliers are NOT factories or authorized distributors but small unaccountable sellers who got parts from nobody knows where, which might have anything inside, as in no chip of any kind, or best case some unrelated silicon.

Which version do you require? IRS2092PBF or IRS2092STRPBF ? I have both SMD and DIL.I am UK based how much do you want for them ?
Please send me a PM info@jonsnell.co.uk and I will let you know.
check12, I do not think JSMSEMI is a fake company. It's a smaller semi conductor company, producing low tech components, probably using older chip technologies than used for the newest designs.
Today the largest foundries like TSMC are focusing the production on high end technology semiconductor companies who are able to pay for the service, focusing on technology smaller then say 25 nm.
As we see big shortage in deliveries from the foundries, I would think it gives rise to smaller new foundries who specialize in older technology.
JSMSEMI, might have licensed the production, and maybe at the end of the day Infineon might source from JSMSEMI and put their own name on. If it the same exact design, it will of course work exactly the same.
Maybe try to write to JSMSEMI and ask? ... janice@jsmsemi.com (from the www)
I would like them to say it's the exact same, and not similar performance!
PS. I have used LCSC a number of times and it seems to be a good and serious company.

Brilliant, thank you I will email ... 🙂For either version, including p+p in the UK £9 for the two.
PayPal F&F is good for me.
Yeah, I was blown away ... I'm actually glad I found that vid now ... will save possible future heartache ... 🙂Incredible, and so wrong in so many ways I find it hard to believe it´s a real video and not a parody.
And yet ...
I'm pretty sure that office is in Shenzhen.
The thing I'm most amazed at is the fact they have actually put that video up as a promotional item???? .... when all it will do is put anybody experienced off completely ... 😱

Yes I've only heard good things about LCSC ... 🙂
