I'm glad my question was of interest! In reality, I was wondering why by dealing with repairs and having built some prototypes of the aleph project, I found that in my opinion the class D in terms of operational safety has defects! From what I have seen, especially in car audio, I have had several repairs both in the power supply and in the output part! Which in class A does not happen!

I still have that, sitting in my sound room, although one channel has developed a fault.

HI nelson, I am new to the diy audio but not new to who you are🙂 I was wondering when you designed the 555 adcom amp did you manage to save a copy of the schematic? Are those designes open source now or are they still patent protected? I did a few years of electronic engineering and would like to get a hold of the schematics for the amp if i could..do you think the 5200 adcom is better then the 555 or the 555-2, I woul dlike to build an amp with my own designes but use your schmatics as a starting point as its been awhile since Ive used my skills..any help would be appreciated thanks Douglas

in the car I only saw class AB and class D!
My brother's 1941 Plymouth had a radio worked pure class A.

It sure broke down. Multiple times.

Today's car-amps are built so cheap (even if sold high) that you wonder how they ever worked new. True class A has a minor "reliability advantage" in that any defects are cooked-out real soon. Still that can be the 91th day of a 90-day warranty.

The wait is for car radios with Infineon/Merus MA12070. I can not believe what I hear with this IC as some devices with this IC sound better than my DIY amplifiers. Lighter, smaller, more efficient, no trouble with difficult loads and now also better sound.
