Something to lighten the mood

With languages, grammar and speech cadence can be important in addition to pronunciations.

There is a profound difference between the phrase below and a phrase composed without the commas and the proper capital letter for the given name.

Helping your uncle, Jack, off a horse.

I knew a pilot who flew MiG-21s in 1971, later retired as a Squadron Leader at the Hakimpet training school, near Hyderabad.
He said the things were reliable, if you got hit, the mechanics would remove the offending bit by the rivets, hammer it back to shape, and rebuild it right there on the ground.
Just like the dent in a car door, his description.

You can't do that with composites...

Fail to see the "funny" side about War reports.
Yes, I totally agree.
Humor is used to keep our minds off the troubles of the world that we can't control.
In fact, it has been clinically tested.... see below.
Let's keep it that way!

“Something to lighten the mood.” Is the thread title. If a war looking like it is ending doesn’t meet that…. It is not the same thing as funny.

Deaths being reported better than most recent wars are always not good news. Bombing cities also bad news. Slowing down or stopping is good news.

Next up is sending aid to rebuild better what was destroyed. Helping folks also helps one to lighten one’s mood.

Actually Jacob W. Davis first started making the pants in Reno NV and brought in Levi Strauss as a partner when he applied for a patent. Strauss was providing the fabric to Davis, which is how they hooked up.

Apparently they did well with the pants!

The name is from the tribe of Levi. Levi was the son of Jacob. So you can correctly pronounce the name as written in your reference bible!
