Lanzar vibe 1800watts

Hi all,

Outputs are bad. Somebody used irf640n but original are FB31N20D. No where I can buy these. I am asking if anybody tried any replacements for this type amp please let me know. Or any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

People have used replacements but the CCS may have to be adjusted to get the 'biasing' right. The following may work but I've never tried it.

I have 38N20. How do I know if to adjust css or not.

Do they heat up significantly and quickly at idle?

No they are not heating. 2.5amps at idle.

If there is no distortion, they may be a drop-in replacement.

Did you replace the low-side NPN driver transistors that commonly fail in these amps?
