Got a Quad QSP (basically a Quad 606,707 in a nicer chassis).
I've taken all the screws out and the feet, which hide another four screws.
I haven't been able to take the bottom of the case off.
Can any one help?

If it's built like the 606 and 909 you have to take two screws out of the panel where the inputs and outputs are.

The construction looks much the same to me. You remove the bottom, not the top. Might take a slight amount of leverage.
