You're in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There's a huge research lab in Santa Fe, and there are some surplus dealers in the area.
Check with jbau here on diyaudio, since he's in your area and sells some surplus as well.

No, just PCBs. I put my question here because I’m a member and figure people on this forum would also know computers.
Do they have to be used? A PC board manufacturer should have rejects or unclaimed boards. Can't hurt to ask, preferably in person, and with a box of donuts or cupcakes.

Most universities will have many junk pcbs. Check with the EE dept. and they can collect them for you.
