Excellent fun idea for future BAF meeting.
Start the " blind test " game in dedicated listening room so ´ Pass Amp's Quiz ´is made in the same acoustic condition,
use the same audio source and preamplifier ( something " universal ") for all different amplifiers.
On the candidates list the most iconic one's :
Zen the original
F5
F6
M2
Aleph J
If 5 amplifiers is not too much then + 3 more for the quiz
Vfet Push- Pull
Vfet SE
ACA
Every amplifier in demonstration play the same two short songs :
first is polite type of music with voice(s) and acoustic piano,
then next very different with big kick drums and heavy bass guitar..
Listeners need write on paper the names in the right order to be the winner(s) and receive >> Golden Ears Medal << 🙂
