No facade here and the only person I'm trying to impersonate is myself. 😉

I bought this box of 20 about 12 years ago to repair a Yamaha B-1 amp with 4 shorted 2SK77's. These are the leftovers from that project that I've offered for sale here as well as Canuck Audio Mart.

I did heard SissySIT (THF51), Singing Bush (THF51,2SK180,2SK182), Babelfish XA252 SIT (THF51)

besides hearing all Papa's Sony VFet amps (in form of T-Bed proto), also DEFiSIT

conclusion - there are other/cheaper ways of getting gooood sound, but SIT/JFet/VFet are that last sparkle in sound, when being in same context

money involved is ........... peanuts comparing with rare/fetish tubes

in my book, toob hobby is fully justified ..... even if I'm always more for (engineering) tricks than for Audiophoolery
