my favorite small low-tolerance PP film/foil caps from EMZ are not built anymore ...
this "orange" ones -> https://24max.de/temp/EMZ-KP.jpg
like they were used on THEL's old Modules: -> https://24max.de/temp/SAW30.jpg
so nowadays you see these "blue ones"
that should be form/fit/function compatible:
e.g. on a newer version of THEL RIAA pre-amp: -> https://phelektronik.de/bilder/groß/SoS-1.jpg
(I found out than you can get them with 1% tolerance as well)
what is the manufacturer of these ?
does anyone have a data sheet ?

A photo would be nice....but go onto the Digikey or Mouser websites. They have in their product selection guides thumbnail pictures and also full data sheets. E
therefore I posted the links above ... 😉A photo would be nice....
the third link shows a PCB where you can see the 8 big blue square caps
Try this Manufacturer - Vishay Roederstein
Those blue capacitors in post #1 appear to be no longer manufactured. Looks like these MKP1837 - Datasheet and Part Numbers , but are listed as "not recommended for new designs". Replaced by MKP385 - Datasheet and Part Numbers , there seems to be only 5% tolerance versions.

yes, thanks, I know these Vishay Roederstein types,
they are MKP (metallized PP-Foil) but I am primarily looking for film/foil PP types (1% or 2% tol.) ...
[Edit] maybe the Vishay KP1830 are a good choice then (?) -> https://www.vishay.com/capacitors/list/product-26016/
but only up to 0,022uF

Or I go for polystyrene caps ("Styroflex")
http://lcrcapacitors.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/fsr-vm-fsr-ax.pdfthey have as well a good loss factor "tan delta" of around 0,0003 (=3x10-4 / =0,03%)
not sure ...

........yes, old luxman (phono) high end gear used polystyrene caps (with rubber damping around).
Hi,
....those look like Electel KP51 (KS) or KP 52 (MKP). I don't know whether there is a reliable source still.
Their Website: https://www.electel.de/index.php/de/

Bingo !....those look like Electel KP51 (KS) or KP 52 (MKP)...
in fact they look like electel KP51 -> https://www.electel.de/images/PDF-DE/kp51d.pdf
exactly what I am looking for: polypropylene film/foil with 1% and "tan delta" of around 0,0003 (=3x10-4 / =0,03%)
I will find out if they are still in production or not ...
Any updates on this?Bingo !
