Besides which, IMHO less than 10% of those suggested "similars" are actually similar to a human. Maybe it needs training. @gerardv this is specifically the "similar threads" block at the bottom of the 20 posts on a page, not "is this already being discussed?" drop down list when starting a new thread.

EVEN IF suggestions were accurate and to the point (they are not), it creates an annoying interruption in the flow from question to answer.
Best case, it FORCES you to fully quote above post simply to avoid jumping screen up-down many times to read question and write answer.
