Clicking noise from DIY speakers on new amp

Hi all!
(hope this is in the correct section)

Last year I build my first speaker project; a set of Overnight Sensations inspired speakers:

Drivers are Dayton Audio TCP115-8 and HiVi T20-8
I also build my own crossover using the following components and schematic:

The speakers used to work with a build in amplifier (Sure AA-AB32155 amplifier board)
But when I connect one speaker to my new SMSL SA300 I only hear clicking/ticking noise. 1 click/tick every second.
Connecting the amp directly to a driver does work.

Anyone know what causes this?
I have no clue where to look for a solution, but am ready to dive into a rabbit hole if someone can point me where I might need to look.

Thanks in advance!

That crossover shows 0.52uFd with no series resistance to the amplifier. That's a heavy load on some amplifiers. Class-D amps may have special troubles. But omitting the 560nFd may(??) affect the crossover response. I wonder if it would be happier with 4Ω (2W) in series with the 560nFd, so the combined impedance never goes to zero.

That amp board is pretty standard class-D, already has capacitance to ground on its outputs - the inductors in the output filter will have protected the amp from this (or any amount of) capacitive load.
The SMSL SA300 uses the MA12070 chip which is designed for filterless use, so presumably lacks output inductors. This probably means its outputting tons of EMI too (filterless chips are designed to be in powered speakers, close to the drivers, not in a general purpose amplifier).
