Lots of good feedback here, and I’m sure this has been mention… it would be nice to increase the visual differentiation between read and unread post titles. To me, easiest solution would be going one level bolder with the unread titles.

edit - oh, and having pagination options at the top and bottom of each thread (vs bottom only)

Can we have the page jumping gizmo at the top of the page aswell as the bottom? Like we used to
It exists on Desktop both top and bottom, so I take it you mean on mobile. Yes, absolutely, have amended this issue:

https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/go-to-last-post-button-missing-atf-on-mobile.380802/
I dunno, I'm seeing some threads where I have read all posts recently and it still takes me to the first post. It's like if it doesn't see new unread posts, it doesn't know where to go.
Please post further discussion on this weirdness here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/last-read-post.380690/

I think the issue is there are some links in the UI that when a thread is read it takes you to the first post not the last post.

Missing on mobile when not logged in, I think.

I see the word "replies" being deleted as clutter in the UI review next month. But the number could still be clickable. Or you could just get used to using the filter.

My preference is I think a subtle color change rather than using bold, but yeah this is something that will be massaged over time. Pagination missing (on mobile when not logged in) will be fixed. Thanks for your feedback Cody.

I completely understand the color shift as a preference. I’m not sure how accessibility has been weighed for any of the design decisions, but that would be the only reason I’d stray from color as a sole visual differentiator.

(FWIW, the UI looks very accessible)

Regarding the issue of typing [s]. Eg: "New post[s]" (please use (s) instead.)

Do tags need to automatically close? It's rare. It's odd to simply close them at the ending of a post. Those that want auto behaviour will be on the wysiwyg editor.

Just a thought.

I'm not sure what happened before. Maybe a strikethrough tag didn't render at all if there was no closing tag? Is that the change? We absolutely did have strikethrough before.

Main page: Way too much wasted empty space, it takes too much scrolling to look at a decent number of post previews, to find the ones of interest. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A "CONDENSED VIEW" OPTION LIKE IN GMAIL. I get it that the new interface looks good on a phone, but how about the poor people that look for productivity vs fashion? Btw it's pretty easy nowadays to have the web server render pages differently according to device type. Keep up the good work but please add a condensed view!

I’m getting a persistent ‘1 unread’ red dot on my avatar. Appears to be triggered by ‘Support us’. I understand if it’s persistent for those who haven’t supported, but I have.
You shouldn't, and I'm not aware of anything related to the support us / donation stuff that would do that. Can you post a screenshot? What is the dot regarding? Is this issue reproducible? Might require a deeper database dive on your user to find out where it comes from.
