This is a Linn LP12 bearing and subplatter, non-Cirkus version. Removed when I upgraded to Cirkus bearing. It is in excellent condition. I also include a set of original Linn springs in very good condition. It will be shipped in a Linn Karosel box for safe shipping.

Asking $60, including shipping in the continental US.

I have one of these, a good statring point for a solid diy TT. From experiemnets on the LP12 in the late 70s, a corian or other solid surface platter can work will, better than the Al one, the one we started with was heavy in copper.

You should have seen Mike Remington's face at the time we first demoed it to him. Mike was head of Linn in NA at the time.

Dave,

Did you use this in a suspended chassis or a solid plinth? If I can determine how to get a platter I might try it in a solid plinth. I would use an Anaheim Automation BLDC motor operated as a 3 phase AC synchronous and could easily build a plinth. I like the idea of something other than alloy platter. Maybe find a used Rega glass platter?
