I give up - although Id say its Japanese.
7.5Kg of Panasonic Ghetto Blaster (rs4350) from 1978 - a whole 11watts/ch
Your earlier patient was a Brit product.
🙂
MF M1HPA headphone amp , apparently class A , but despite working perfectly after my repair I didn’t see any of that going on anywhere. 🙄 😕
nth on the bench today (I lost count)
Layout is very Musical Fidelity. The A220 is similar but simpler.
It feels like - push buttons (lower left) and silver metal..
The insides look cheaper end (not an HK citation etc) with a little feeling Japanese? Perhaps Sony, Marantz or Accuphase?

Marantz 1060
Close-ish I guess
Begins with an R 😀😉
That’s Roksan - I recognize it from review photos!
I remember the 1060 from the 1970’s. Nice amp and it looked good as well. Was it 30W per channel?
Was it 30W per channel?
Indeed into 4 and 8 , they also specified 20w into 16ohm 😀
🙂 I wouldn't mind getting one to do up just for old times sake.
I repaired and donated an immaculate PM7000 to a family member a few months ago. Happy that its gone to an appreciative new owner.

Today I finished my latest project. - Radio project #7 now.
These projects kill boredom and keep me off the streets in my old age LOL!
An FM table radio, in a 3/4" thick poplar wood case, stained in dark mahogany.
The internals are a solid state FM tuner chassis, with a 7watt amp board that I designed.
LED dial lamp, dial is hand numbered on brushed aluminum panel, beige grille cloth covering a 6.5" high compliance speaker.
Even has a little LED "tuning" indicator when station is properly tuned.
The cabinet is sealed air-tight for acoustic suspension properties.
It measures 12" wide, 8-1/4" high, 5-1/2" deep.
Sounds pretty decent, nice tonal quality for its size.

on the ‘bench’ - Tryin’ to figure out the details of a steel chassis that I’m making
You're a lot like me..
Drawing up sketches, layout preparations, making templates.
It reduces "surprises" when assembly time comes along.
